COMMENTING POLICY

Here at The Theatre Reader, our mandate involves provoking intelligent discussion. Comments posted from our readers on our articles must serve to further our readers’ knowledge and/or to provoke thought about the topic being written about.

Our writers agree that criticism towards theatrical productions must always be constructive and as a result, we expect nothing less from the comments of our readership. If you desire to rebut the opinion of our writers, we invite you to do so. We expect that readers will not agree with all opinions posted on The Theatre Reader, but we ask that your arguments be posted with the intent to further the public’s understanding of the play. Malicious use of expletives is strictly prohibited. Destructive and negative criticism towards our writers, or the topic being written about, is strictly prohibited.

The approval of comments on TheTheatreReader.com, and on our social media sites, is under the discretion of our management team. Any comments that fail to comply with the above mentioned policy will be permanently removed from the site.

Thank you for your co-operation.
